Making your first plan

Tap the plus button in the top-right corner and choose New Plan. From Scratch builds a plan by hand and works on every supported device. From Text reads a plan you have pasted in, such as a call sheet or a rehearsal email, and turns it into activities you can check before saving.

“From Text” is greyed out

Reading a plan from text runs on your device using Apple’s Foundation Models, which need iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. On other devices the option is shown disabled with an explanation, and From Scratch is always available. No text is sent off your device either way.

Sending a plan from another app

Select text in Notes, Mail, or Messages, open the share sheet, and choose Schedrift. The app opens with the text ready to review. This needs iOS 26 for the same reason as From Text; on earlier versions Schedrift offers to copy the text so you can build the plan by hand.

The three activity types

  • Flexible activities stretch or shrink. When something else runs long, these are what give up the time.
  • Fixed-start activities stay at their clock time no matter what happened before them.
  • Set-length activities keep their duration and move earlier or later.

Alerts, chimes, and Focus

Schedrift schedules local notifications for each warning and transition and marks them time-sensitive, so they still reach you with a Focus mode on and the phone in your pocket. Chime volume, the alert sound channel, and haptic strength are under Settings, then Alerts & Sound. If alerts are not arriving, check that notifications are allowed for Schedrift in the iOS Settings app.

Apple Watch

The Watch app mirrors the running session and can move to the next activity. It needs the iPhone app installed and nearby. If the face shows “iPhone not connected”, open Schedrift on the phone once to resync.

iCloud sync

Plans sync between your devices through your own iCloud account. Sign in to iCloud on each device and allow Schedrift under iCloud settings. Sync can take a moment after a change; opening the app brings it up to date.

Schedrift Pro and Restore Purchase

The free tier holds two saved plans. Schedrift Pro is a one-time purchase, shared with your Family Sharing group, that removes the limit. To restore it on a new device, open Settings, then About, and tap Restore Purchase; the same button is on the saved-plan limit screen. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Accessibility

Schedrift is built for VoiceOver first. Every control is labelled, times are spoken as words, and during a session Magic Tap (a two-finger double-tap) confirms you have moved on. If something is unlabelled or hard to reach, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

Getting in touch

Email hello@schedrift.app. Include your device model and iOS version, and the name of the plan if the problem is about a particular one. We cannot see your plans, so a description or a screenshot helps.
